Nudefest 2026 in Langport, England

From 7 to 12 July, nudists from many countries – as they have done for almost 20 years – met at the largest naturist festival in Europe, NUDEFEST, in Langport, England. Organised by British Naturism, the festival is also open to non-members; the website https://www.nakedtickets.co.uk/nudefest attracts newcomers with the slogan ‘Open to All’.

The author of this report is also one of the ‘newbies’ and was delighted! Despite the almost unbearable heat, the atmosphere was always very relaxed, even cheerful. The author has never met so many friendly people in such a short time.

But despite the relaxed atmosphere, the many events on the programme were very professional, from morning meditation and yoga to creative workshops (such as life drawing, see photo) and various lectures, as well as the evening concerts. The ‘Paint Fight’ in the style of Holi and the foam party in particular caused a lot of laughter and will be remembered fondly by all participants.

And for those who found the hustle and bustle a bit much, they could join an excursion to the nearby Burrow Hill Cider Brandy Farm, including a walk among the apple trees and a tasting of various products – all in Adam and Eve outfits, of course (see photo)!

Or one could retreat to a small, idyllic lake on the festival grounds – although unfortunately only fish were allowed to swim there: swimming was prohibited! 🤔

The lack of swimming facilities and the limited choice of food are the only points of criticism worth mentioning. The festival organisers have announced improvements to the catering for 2027 (especially for vegetarians).

The festival grounds are adjacent to a huge campsite (with showers and toilets). One can either bring one’s own tent, rent one of the luxurious ‘glamping’ tents (see photo), or stay in one’s own van. Note: those who do not want to do without electricity must bring their own suitable adapter (details to be clarified with the festival organisers).

The next Nudefest is planned for 6 to 11 July 2027 at the same location.
